About Us
History
Anglia Tool Centre was established in November 2006 as a tool shop in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. From the beginning, our aim was to supply customers with the best quality tools and expert customer service.
In 2008 we built our brand online and in 2011 we moved to a larger warehouse to expand our product range. In the years to follow we added new showrooms, new products and more staff.
Today, we are now one of the largest power tool supplies in the UK.
We stock an extensive range of products including power tools, hand tools, accessories, fixings, measuring tools and workwear. Whether you are placing a bulk product order or a specific item request; our expert team are on hand to ensure you find the right tool for the job.
Anglia Tool Centre is part of the Huws Gray Group, the UK’s largest independent builders’ merchant with over 100 trading locations across the UK and employing almost 1800 staff.

Our award-winning (Builder’s Merchant Awards: Winner 2014, Winner 2018) showrooms provide customers with a unique shopping experience. Visitors are encouraged to use our popular in-store demo areas where customers can try power tools before they buy.
Our low online prices are matched in-store, meaning store customers will benefit from the same great deals we advertise online. Click and collect is available through our website providing extra convenience and service.
All of our showrooms feature detailed power tool displays from Makita, Dewalt, Festool and many more leading tool brands with an extensive range of corded and cordless products in stock.

Staff
Our friendly and knowledgeable sales team are trained in-house and by suppliers. In-store and over the phone, they’re always on hand to help and give advice on finding the right tool for the job.
Providing a high level of training ensures that our staff can provide the most accurate guidance when assisting customers with their purchases.

Events
We host a range of trade shows and exhibitions throughout the year, from Manchester to Exeter, providing visitors with exclusive deals, hands on demonstrations and much more.
Our biggest event is the Norwich Trade Show, held at Carrow Road Stadium every October. First opened in 2011, the trade show continues to grow year on year and has been established as East Anglia’s biggest power tool demonstration event.
More recently, we founded the Midlands Tool Show at the Hawthorns Stadium to bring our popular trade show format to the Midlands.
