AEG
AEG (Allgemeine Elektricitäts-Gesellschaft) is a German company originally founded in 1883 that ceased to exist in 1997 but whose name was taken on by Electrolux. AEG originally started as an electrical engineering company producing electrical equipment and components. Later it moved into various other industries including automotive parts, power tools and locomotive parts.
