The lightest and most compact 36 volt Cordless Rotary-hammer weighing in at only 2.9Kg (inc battery and grip).  The GBH 36V-LI Compact Professional is the first professional Bosch Power Tool to be driven by a brushless EC (electronically commutated) motor which is Brushless for maintenance-free working. Its higher degree of efficiency (80-90%) compared to a standard DC-Motor (70%) makes the GBH 36 V-LI Compact Professional one of the most advanced cordless SDS hammers in the world.

This technology results in a low abrasive and maintenance free motor that makes carbon brushes unnecessary. Its compact A4 Size overhead drilling is a cinch.  With Bosch 36v Li-Ion compact Batteries can drill 100 (6x40mm) into concrete on one charge, accepts all 36V Bosch 2.6Ah standard & 1.3Ah compact (CP) batteries and its unique electronic cell protection (ECP) means they'll last upto 4 times longer. Fuel guage on batteries for charge state control, never be caught short up a ladder again.

Pneumatic hammer mechanism, optimised for drilling holes of 4 - 10 mm in concrete (max. 18 mm).  Bosch Hyper Charge: due to the rapid charging process, the batteries are charged to 75% after just half of the charge time.  Full charge complete after only 30 minutes,  no memory effect: the battery can be charged regardless of the charging state at any time, without damaging the cells.
